Lovkesh is an Entrepreneur, CEO, Angel Investor and Philanthropist.
In 2017 Lovkesh founded IT Services and Solutions company “Phithos”, which is contributing to large scale and meaningful interventions for Public Healthcare in AFRICA. Phithos is collaborating with healthcare research institutions and NGOs in South Africa & Nigeria to pilot & validate the interventions and bring the on-field learning into innovation development cycle. In summary, Phithos services and solutions are contributing to:
- Expand and Improve “Primary & Diagnostic Healthcare Services”, including hard to reach areas.
- Promote “Preventive & Prospective Healthcare” by creating an Affordable, Accessible and Acceptable healthcare ecosystem and thereby contributing to Overall “Population Health Improvement”.
In 2019 Lovkesh co-founded Education startup “SGA Consulting” with a vision of supporting businesses in the Digital Transformation Journey. We believe, Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence will become an integral part of the companies to revolutionize business models. Understanding human intelligence alone is no longer enough. SGA Consulting in collaboration with Career Launcher (CL Data School) brings “The Machine Learning Retreat” program for CXOs to South Africa.
In 2020 Lovkesh supported a Healthcare startup “Akili Labs” which is an innovative biotechnology company pioneering molecular diagnostics to advance the global healthcare system. Based in South Africa with international affiliates, Akili Labs was established after realizing the need for easy access to fast-paced diagnostics in the healthcare system. As a Director of the company, Lovkesh is contributing to Strategy and Growth in AFRICA. Through Akili Labs, we contributed to COVID response in South Africa by offering discounted RT-PCR tests which in turn helped public and private businesses to operate during pandemic and contribute to sustain the economy and jobs.
In 2021 Lovkesh invested in a New Age Social Media startup “Explurger”. It is a Made in India platform for the world to connect. Built on artificial intelligence it empowers the users to go beyond check-ins, sharing pictures & videos. Based on the concept of gamification it is first of its kind to reward users for being socially active.
Lovkesh was born and brought up in a lower middle-class family from a small town (Karnal in the state of Haryana) of North India. With the blessings of his parents, he completed Engineering and MBA degrees from India. He started the professional career by selling industrial and agricultural generators in the field, electronic equipment on the shop floor and website development before becoming a Software Developer.
After investing couple of years in writing software code the circle of sales repeated, but this time it was in IT Sales and in South Africa. For 11 years (2006 to 2017), with an Indian IT company in South Africa, Lovkesh held various management roles wherein established and managed large-scale portfolios with customers from Financial and Insurance sectors in South Africa.
